YUM! Food, Drink and Music festival returns to Hull this summer

The Festival of Food, Drink, and Music will be returning to the city of Hull this summer. People will surely be tickled upon seeing this jam packed Yum! Organised event. The celebration this year will be very different. This year, a comprehensive live entertainment will be offered to the crowd. Furthermore, the organisers also promised a wider variety of events. The festival will be taking place from the 8th-10th August.

The said programme has been welcomed by both the city centre businesses as well as those people who contributed much to the evening economy. William Wilberforce pub owner in Trinity House Lane as well as other pub owners will do their very best to promote their chilli dogs and hot dogs.

Ms. Emma Badham said that actively participated last year and the event all went well. This year’s upgraded entertainment should entice a lot of people around the evening as well as entice those people who cannot make it on a day. This one of a kind entertainment program was specially designed to achieve success of the Humber Street Sesh as well as promote the Freedom Festival which will be happening in September and the Hull Folk Festival, which will take place later in the month.

Cooking demonstrations and other related activities will take place at the main stage of Queen Victoria Square. The adjacent King Edward Street will feature a food market, which will be featuring the top culinary creations from Hull.

Judy Newlove will be one of the main highlights of the event. Judy Newlove runs sugar ‘n’ spice in Paragon Arcade, Hull. She will be hitting the main stage to decorate the giant cupcake. Other activities will also take place including cookery demonstrations by the famous chefs from the Two Rivers Restaurant and the Mercure Royal Hotel. This will further make the activity worthwhile.
