The awards are organised by MTJ and Ed Beddington is the editor who has commented, “John Davidson is operating a fantastic business and it is great to see him being honoured in this way.

The Young Butcher of the Year award was given to Andrew Brassington who has commented, “I hope my receipt of this award will encourage more young people to become butchers, it is an innovative industry and it is always good to see young people getting involved in it.”

Patrick O’Doherty took the award for Innovation of the Year, and he has created a beef product using ancient recipes to create premium corned beef which has proved itself very popular.
