Last years was a festival with a new look, it was staged in the centre of town and free for everyone. The visitors applauded the changes and they enjoyed a whole host of attractions. Traders saw their takings soar, and many reported that they had taken double on the previous year. This year they are hoping to do even better as huge crowds are expected.
One of the directors of the festival, Deborah Robb, hailed the success of the show in 2010, saying that the turnout had been stunning. It had exceeded all expectations and they were building on that success to make this years an even bigger and better experience. A wide range of locally produced beer, wine and gourmet foods would be available to taste and purchase. Volunteers are required to help out in all manner of roles.
