Food lovers are in for a divine treat at a grade A class of high class producers and a TV chef are getting ready for this year’s annual Mold Food and Drink Festival.
Graham Tinsley from ITV’s Taste the Nation is one of the three top culinary experts that will be offering public demonstrations at the event that attracted about ten thousand people last year. Tinsley is the co-owner and director of Castle Hotel Conwy and the manger of the Welsh Culinary Team which is now the seventh ranked team around the globe.
Also taking part in demonstrations is vegetarian guru Christina Tiberry from the Cordon Vert School and Master chef Brian Mellor.
Outside of the demonstrations, visitors can also enjoy the many food exhibitors that literally will be serving anything from olives to fudge to meats to cheese. If this is not enough, entertainment will also be on hand both Saturday and Sunday on September 25th and 26th.
The area will have three zones including a music stage, a demonstration stage, and an interactive zone in which visitors can make fruit sculptures or try out flambé pancakes.
The festival will also include a competition among amateur chefs. The chefs will be cooking dishes in front of hundreds of people working on their own original recipes with judging taking place at Deeside College.
The recipes will be shortlisted and the competitors that many the final cut will be able to present and cook their dish at the College with the final two competitors competing on Saturday.
