Melksham Food Festival set to be the best yet

Next month the fourth food festival in Melksham will be taking place, and this year it is going to see the most diverse programme that the festival has ever hosted. There are going to be more producers of great food and drink at the Festival than has ever been seen before and it is expected to be a fantastic event.

The event is going to take place shortly and is due to start in early September and run for nine days. The event is going to be taking place at the Assembly Hall as well as the Market Place. It is not just food and drinks that are going to be available at the Festival, but there are also going to be several themed events being run. One of the most popular is sure to be a safari themed lunch which is an event which has been previously seen at the festival, and has proved very popular.

It is not just food and drink that are on offer and flowers are also going to be sold. Wine tasting is also going to be available at the event where people are going to be able to sample some of the greatest wines from the surrounding area. An afternoon is also going to be held during the week which is going to see Pimms served as well as a croquet game held.

Preparation classes are also going to be held at the event including one about how to mix cocktails, and various cooking demonstrations. There is also going to be live music and even a chilli eating competition. The event is being sponsored by Sainsbury’s.
