The top chefs that will attend The Mold Food & Drink Festival have been announced as Brian Mellor and Graham Tinsley MBE. The pair will demonstrate their high level of culinary skill for attendees at the event which will take place over the weekend of September 25th and September 26th.
This will be the second time appearance for Graham Tinsley who is the manager and a founding member of the Welsh Culinary Team. Tinsley is also known for his celebrity chef role on the ITV television show Taste The Nation. He can be seen on Saturday on the centre stage of the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre and will conduct three different cooking demonstrations.
Tinsley has been working as a notable chef for a lengthy period of time after winning a five collection of culinary medals and the opportunity for a five year apprenticeship at the Midland Hotel in Manchester studying under the watchful eye of Gilbert Leferve.
From there he received several great roles at De Vere Hotels and in 1991 worked on the team that developed and opened the Ewloe St. David’s Park hotel. As a result of this successful venture, he went on in 1997 to open and develop the Spa and Golf Resort in Cheshire at the Carden Park Hotel and has been the co-owner and director of the Conway Castle hotel since 2000.
Throughout the festival Graham will be on hand to offer some cooking recipes and professional tips to those who want to learn how to make use of local produce and meats. A small portion of his menu recipes will also be given out to attendees as handouts.
