East Lothian Food & Drink Awards

The largest hotel group in the UK is Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and it has recently been given a prestigious award at the East Lothian Food & Drink Awards. The event was hosted at one of the chains hotels which also received an award for best customer care. This was the sixth time the event had been hosted and the hotel group also was the runner-up for the Best Hotel Meal award which was won by the same hotels restaurant, Marine.

The general manager of the hotel group has commented, “It is great news to us that we have received this prestigious award, it is a testament to all the hard work we’ve put in making sure that all our guests have a fantastic stay. Receiving the customer care reward makes all of the effort worthwhile.

We aim to offer the highest quality service consistently to our guests at all of our hotels. This award is just goes to show that we are achieving this and that our guests are the most important people to us. I would personally like to thank all of the staff who work at the hotels who have made this possible, without their effort and dedication we would not be able to have achieved this award”.

Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa is located on Scotland’s east coast in North Berwick and has accommodation that is of the highest quality. For business guests it also has large conference facilities and to those who’ve come to relax there is also an extensive spa facility.

Most of what is served at the restaurant is seasonal, organic food, prepared with care by the restaurants exceptional chefs.
