Footballer’s fav chippy opens new branch in Manchester

Fosters Fish & Chips has opened a location in Didsbury on Wilmslow Road.  This is the second shop for the award winning eatery that counts soap stars and Premiere League footballers among its regular clientele.

The opening of the second location ends a three-year long search for Gareth and Kath Foster, the husband and wife team that run an establishment that uses green conscious sustainability standards to choose suppliers of their seafood.

Farms in Cheshire supply potatoes and the fish batter is all natural.  Maybe that is part of the reason the original Fosters can boast clientele like William Roache, the Coronation Street star, Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick.

The owners say that their goal is to duplicate the success of their original shop, in Alderley Edge, at their new locale.  All they want to do, they say, is make good food for good customers like they have been for 15 years.
